Fall 2018 Grant Cycle Closes June 30th

While the Foundation accepts LOIs on a rolling basis, grant decisions are made twice a year--spring and fall. LOIs for the Fall 2018 grant cycle must be submitted by June 30th for consideration. Not sure if you're a fit? Read on, and explore our website for more information on eligibility and funding priorities.

We're looking for organizations who bring an excitement and passion to their work, and who are working to break the cycle of poverty by addressing or removing the root causes of systemic barriers to health, safety, shelter and opportunity in the communities where we work and live: Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Frederick County. Some state-wide initiative made be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We're particularly looking for organizations that are community-led and community-driven, engaging the constituents they aim to serve in decision-making in meaningful ways, and organizations who think creatively about the disrupting the cyclical nature of poverty in these communities.

If that sounds like you, we'd encourage you to submit an LOI for our Fall 2018 Grant Cycle. We are offering grants for general operating support, program-specific support, and capacity building initiatives specifically.

All organizations seeking funding, regardless of amount requested, are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Provide services in and/or be based in one of our geographic areas of focus;
  • Provide evidence of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3);
  • Provide up-to-date contact details for regular communications;
  • Adhere to the principles of the Foundation.
